Campos and US F1 might miss first three races of Formula One

Campos and USF1 team in trouble?

It is reported that the two new F1 teams Campos and US F1 might skip the first three races of the Championship as they’re struggling to prepare for their racing debut.

The two teams are able to do so by skipping races, as there’s a clause in the Concorde Agreement that allows teams to skip three races during the season

F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone seems to add weight to the report by saying, “I think we won’t see Campos and I don’t think we will see the Americans, they are going to ask to miss three races. In the Concorde Agreement the teams are allowed to miss three races.”

When I heard the news, well the first thought that came to mind was that it sucked.

I do hope the reports are not true. Why even join in the first place if you’re not prepared. Give other deserving teams who are more prepared their F1 shot instead.

My first real memories of watching TV, when I was young was recalling vivid images of my sporting heroes like Ayrton Senna. With the Singapore GP debuting in my country, I decided to setup a fun blog on F1. Thanks for visiting ... more »
