Tony Fernandes tweets about signing their first driver

Lotus Formula One which is backed by the Malaysian government has just signed their first driver.

This was confirmed by principal Tony Fernandes who tweet on his Twitter stating, “One Malaysia Formula One team aka Lotus has signed its first driver. Public announcement soon. The dream continues.”

It is believed that the driver could be Italian Jarno Trulli, who is now without a team after his Toyota Racing Team quit the sport.

Lotus Formula One is expected to sign also Malaysian Fairuz Fauzy as their reserve driver.
