Toyota launches TF108

From Toyota German base in Cologne, the TF108 was announced to the media and public. In their seventh season participation of Formula One, Team Honda would like to put their disappointing 2007 campaign behind them and are aiming for major improvements this season

The three Toyota drivers was present Jarno Trulli, Timo Glock and Kamui Kobayashi at the announcement

The new Toyota TF108 has a new longer wheelbase to aid stability and a totally new aerodynamic design. The design was based on an older 2006 model, the Toyota TF106

The car also has the new for 2008 higher headrests around the drivers head and also has the new standard McLaren Electronic Systems ECU that prevents the car having driver aids
