Michael Schumacher is back behind the wheels … in a kart

Michael Schumacher returns to his roots - karting
Michael Schumacher is slated to drive again, not it’s not an F1 car, but the lesser demands of kart racing.
The 40 year old is set to take part in the Superkarts! USA SuperNationals (SKUSA) in Las Vegas next week, joining the 125cc SuperPro category.
His team of choice is the Tony Kart factory team, and his wheels of choice is a Vortex-powered Racer EVR.
The seven-time F1 champion is no stranger to kart racing, as he started out his racing career in a kart, winning numerous German and European kart championships in the 80’s.
It is still unclear if Schumacher will race in 2010, as Ferrari’s president Luca di Montezemolo hinted Ferrari might push for a rule change which would allow Formula One teams to run three cars during a Grand Prix.
Who knows, this might just be a start for an F1 comeback.
