Speedcar wants former F1 champion Michael Schumacher

Retired F1 champion driver Michael Schumacher has been the target of Benoit Lamonerie, the general manager of novel stock car racing series, the Speedcar series
He said in a recent interview, “I would love simply to have Schumacher in one of our cars.”
The Speedcar series was started last January 2008 and races across several countries which includes Middle East, Asia and Australasia. The series has 24 drivers competing in identical V8 620 hp stock cars
Plenty of former F1 drives have signed up like Jacques Villeneuve, Jean Alesi, Heinz Harald Frentzen, Christian Danner, Johnny Herbert, Stefan Johansson, Narain Karthikeyan, Ukyo Katayama, J.J. Lehto, Gianni Morbidelli and Alex Yoong.
This year champion is Johnny Herbert of Great Britain
But for now it is unlikely that the 39 year old German is tempted at the offer, as he is basking in his retirement. Currently he is riding in the German Superbike (IDM) where he says the riding is just “a hobby” for him
