Video: Jackie Stewart Post-Retirement F1 Driving
I’ve always been fascinated by British drivers, they drive great especially under wet condition and I just love such slippery races.
One of them is Sir Jackie Stewart who competed from 1965 to 1973 in the Formula One and getting three drivers’ championship from there.
Well this is an old video of him back in the late 70′s three years after his retirement, driving at the ‘Brands Hatch’ circuit, a motor racing circuit in Kent, England.
It used to hold F1 British Grand Prix races up till 1986 and is now only hosting major international races such as A1 GP, but get this, the circuit has a curfew!
You can only start driving from 8.30 am to 6.30pm only. Engines must be turned off by then as there’s a housing estate built nearby.
