Buy a Cosworth engine and none other, or you’re off the grid – F1 entrant told

So far 13 Formula One teams are confirmed for next season of the Championship.
Ten are from the current teams while three are new addition.
Campos GP, US F1 and Manor GP are the new confirmed F1 teams for next season.
While disappointingly Prodrive, Lola and Team Lotus didn’t make the cut.
And now the teams wasn’t included are crying foul over their exclusion.
Team car owners claims that they were not accepted by FIA as it was “mandatory” to buy engines from Northamptonshire-based Cosworth, and these rejected team owners had plans to acquire their engine from other manufacturers.
It is indeed surprising that teams such as Lola and Lotus who has a history in auto-racing was rejected, while teams with no F1 background was accepted.
FIA has responded stating, “Independent supply of engines to the new teams was a priority, without such condition, the whole grid would be at the mercy of the car industry and no new team would be able to enter without their permission”.
That sure suck, it sounds like they leave no room for compromise.
