Singapore F1 Grand Prix will be see the debut of “DigiFlags”, which is used to display the F1 racing status such as indicating to drivers from Green means OK to Red which means Alert

The current ploy is to use traditional flags being held by officials at each marshals’ post but times have changed

Valerio Maioli S.p.A who is the lighting consultants for the Singapore night race, has developed, did extensive test and the DigiFlags has passed FIA’s stringent requirements

But the old flags will not be totally replaced, as the new DigiFlags is used in conjunction with the traditional flags

Some 35 DigiFlags will be placed at the Singapore circuit and the race officials will now have a better overview of the flag status being operated by officials at various respective posts

Hi my name is Sha. I run this Formula One fansite blog. This is not the official Singapore GP website, their link is here. My first real memories of watching TV, when I was young was recalling vivid images of my sporting heroes like Ayrton Senna. With the Singapore GP debuting in my country, I decided to setup a fun blog on F1
