The current negotiations for Singapore F1 has hit a stumbling block as it is said local business tycoon Ong Beng Seng wants the government to foot the large bill for the street circuit revamp at Marina Bay, but the government has reservations

F1 Singapore is said will cost around US$70 millions to host and the issues with financial and logistical has resulted in the talks slowed to a crawl

Another issues that is plaguing the talks are also minimizing the disruptions to local businesses and to ensure public safety around the area

The talks need to be resolved soon as a decision need to be made before April as preparations need to be done if there was to be a race in 2008

Well we hope the talks will bear fruit!

Hi my name is Sha. I run this Formula One fansite blog. This is not the official Singapore GP website, their link is here. My first real memories of watching TV, when I was young was recalling vivid images of my sporting heroes like Ayrton Senna. With the Singapore GP debuting in my country, I decided to setup a fun blog on F1
