f1-singapore-recession.jpg

Get this, the upcoming inaugural Singapore F1 might in fact help the Singapore shrinking economy and prevent recession as a recent Reuter poll indicated.

How cool is that.

I guess the economic spin off from this event is inevitable as there’s millions of fans all around the world hooked to F1

The gross domestic product for the July to September quarter period will received a much needed boost with F1 presence, helping to make up for the slump in the drugs and electronics output which has resulted in shrinking economy contraction for April to June period

So basically that means an economy contraction in Apr >Jun but economy boost in Jul>Sep due to F1.

Thus no recession! Walaaaaa.

For the clueless, I’m no economist but I do know, a recession is known when two consecutive quarters experiences contraction

Hi my name is Sha. I run this Formula One fansite blog. This is not the official Singapore GP website, their link is here. My first real memories of watching TV, when I was young was recalling vivid images of my sporting heroes like Ayrton Senna. With the Singapore GP debuting in my country, I decided to setup a fun blog on F1
