In coming weeks, there will be numerous Formula One themed activities to be enjoyed by locals and international visitors. Well why not get into the F1 mood right. Here’s a lowdown on the upcoming events

25Aug - 2Oct: The Great Design Race (National Museum of Singapore)

There will be a special Formula One exhibition at the National Museum of Singapore. It will showcase London’s Design Museum exhibits of racing and engineering facts, machines and history spanning the last 50 years. There will be a display of iconic cars which I’m sure to the delight of car fans

29Aug - 28Sep: ING Renault F1 Team Pavilion (Tang Plaza)

Get up close with Renault F1 R28 car at this event! Expect it to be popular and crowded but its all worth it. Also there will be other replicas on display with exhibitions of the behind the scenes of an F1 traveling team. You can buy merchandise there of course. Yipeee!

17-20 Sep: Oris Air Asia Grand Prix Challenge & Roadshow with Cortina Watch (Millenia Walk)

Want to race alongside F1 racer of Nico Rosberg from AT&T Williams F1 Team. Well you can. Just drive the F1 simulator and winners from the simulator challenge will have their chance to meet Nico Rosberg and even race against him. This exhibition is to showcase and lunch of Oris timepieces

19-28 September: TAG Heuer “Racing Legends of our Time” Exhibition (Paragon Atrium)

Here’s your chance to get hold of a limited edition watches commemorating the first Formula One Grand Prix night race in Singapore. You can also benefit from the event as it will showcase TAG Heuer historical involvement with Formula One

26Sep - 5Oct: The Singapore Motorshow 2008 (Suntec Singapore)

Well if you’re an auto enthusiast, you need to come down to his event. Held only every two years, you shouldn’t miss this. Well set to see racing queens, latest motor technology to beautiful vehicles on display

27-28 September: Amber Lounge (Conrad Centennial Singapore)

Come down to the Amber Lounge for the exclusive Formula One party. There will be race drivers and the teams from F1. Frolic and touch shoulder to shoulder with such celebrities be it from F1, local or international stars
