More than 100,000 people are expected to throng downtown Marina and Padang area as F1 hit town this coming September 26th to 28th.

All I can advise from prior crowded events in Singapore (not in this magnitude of course) and my F1 events, take the public transport, bring your sunblock, earplugs, wear light, put your cherished items at the hotel safe deposit and drink lots of water. Have patience too, as you’ll be elbow to elbow more likely

Well here are the list of streets with dates affected

1. September 20 to October 2: St Andrew’s Road and Connaught Drive
2. 23-30 September: Marina Centre
3. 26-28 September (F1 Race Week): Raffles Avenue, Republic Boulevard and Nicoll Highway will be pened from 5am to 9am
4. Free shuttle bus to race area: Via Bugis and Raffles City MRT stations
5. Recommended taxi drop off point: Suntec City
