The error I received

The demand for the ticket sale of the inaugural Singapore Grand Prix was so popular that the back-end that handles the tickets ‘crashed’

Tickets is available online this week and also at call centres from various outlets.

But those purchasing online had their buying request on hold for a long time or timed-out as there was “an extraordinarily high volume of system traffic both locally and internationally.”

It doesn’t help also that those buying ‘offline’ at official F1 outlets, also uses the Singapore GP F1 online ticketing portal to make the purchase

The Singapore GP Pte Ltd has issued an apology and said they’re trying their best to reduce the delay

Well as of now, as I tried the ticketing website, it is still on a crawl, and I’m from Singapore!

Well they should have expected this and have contingencies plan.

Maybe they could discount the ticket prices now eh to make up for the problem :p

Do buy your F1 tickets here

Hi my name is Sha. I run this Formula One fansite blog. This is not the official Singapore GP website, their link is here. My first real memories of watching TV, when I was young was recalling vivid images of my sporting heroes like Ayrton Senna. With the Singapore GP debuting in my country, I decided to setup a fun blog on F1
