After the high speed stretch earlier via the Padang location, the F1 cars will nearly be at a ’standstill’ as the abrupt sharp turns here will force the drivers to slow as much as 125pkh on the very slow turns. There is a triple apex stretch that will cause a ‘bumpy’ concern as the protruding curb at the apex can cause the cars to hurtle upwards in the air and even damaging the underside. The best and fastest way to overcome this turn is a straight run across the kerb but at the expense of a possible accident and damage. Viewing wise there’s the large Padang grandstand and a smaller grandstand near the Old Supreme Court; the City Hall grandstand. Go to Turn 11 »
